OPTIMISATION AND PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF WiMAX MESH NETWORKS WITH IEEE 802.16J RELAYS

چکیده

Releele non-transparente IEEE802.16j „multi-hop” constitue o soluţie promiţătoare pentru extinderea cu preţ scăzut a acoperirii şi capacităţii reţelelor WiMAX. Apar însă anumite probleme, cum ar fi alegerea unei căi de la staţia de bază prin releele disponibile, determinând în final o topologie tip arbore, sau alegerea unei căi cu interferenţă minimă. Aceasta lucrare urmăreşte evaluarea performanţelor unui astfel de algoritm de planificare şi rutare centralizată, ţinând cont de efectele posibilelor interferenţe generate de releele aflate în aceeaşi zonă de acoperire.
